Email Setup iPad
Get email address information
If you have not yet set up an email address, first carry out the step » Create email address the end.
The email data (POP3, IMAP, SMTP) can be found in the edit mode of your homepage under E-mail ▶ Email address management .
Click next to the desired email address access data .
All data must be entered exactly as specified in your access data. A distinction is made between upper and lower case!
Set up iPad
Tap on settings
Tap on Mail ▶ accounts .
Tap on add account .
Tap on Other .
Fill in the "Name", "Email" and "Password" fields with the data from your access data 13
Tap on further
Under "Incoming E-Mails"
Fill in the "Hostname", "Username" and "Password" fields with the data from your access data 423
Under "Outgoing E-Mails"
Fill in the "Hostname", "Username" and "Password" fields with the data from your access data 523
click on further
Tap on To back up .
✓ Setup is complete!
Test the settings and send an e-mail to your own e-mail address, check the e-mail inbox.
If problems occur, check the other settings as described below
Check inbox settings
Tap on settings ▶ Passwords & Accounts ▶ bluetronix mail ▶ Account (...your email address...) ▶ advanced .
Check all fields marked red in the picture. All settings must be set exactly as in the following image.
Especially the port 993!
Tap on Finished .
Check outbox settings
Tap on settings ▶ Passwords & Accounts ▶ bluetronix mail ▶ Account (...your email address...) ▶ SMTP ...bxserver.com .
Tap on ...bxserver.com .
Check all fields marked red in the picture. All settings must be set exactly as in the following image.
Especially port 587!
Tap on Finished .
Test the settings and send an e-mail to your own e-mail address, check the e-mail inbox.
