Auction houses have special requirements: complex processes, high visitor numbers, time-sensitive bids, international customers, legal frameworks, and a high degree of trust. With bluetronix, you can realize your own auction platform in various stages of development – from the classic presentation site to the enterprise project with its own server infrastructure and cluster operation.

Delivery

After handover, each object is uniquely captured via QR code and permanently linked to the Plutronics system. Thus, the digital process begins directly at delivery, and every further step can be documented without gaps and tracked in the system.

Item description

In the next step, the object and item are described and photographed. These tasks can be carried out by various employees. For text creation, modern AI functions can be used upon request to prepare content more quickly and efficiently.

Catalog creation

Subsequently, the recorded items are assigned to appropriate categories and compiled into a complete auction catalog. Before publication, the finished catalog can be reviewed by a senior employee and released during the final inspection.

Administration

The items are centrally managed in the auction house or warehouse. An integrated positioning system documents exactly where an item is located, who stored it, and which employee last removed or worked on it.

Web Publication

Once the catalog is approved, it is made visible to customers on the website. Interested parties can view items, add them to a watch list, prepare bids, and comfortably manage their personal bidding lists directly within the system.

Newsletter

Various methods are available for customer notifications, such as the Plutronics newsletter system, traditional mail via a postal interface, or push notifications within a dedicated app. This ensures that each piece of information reaches the right recipients.

Bidding Portal

Customers can register via the website and will automatically be recorded in the customer management system in the back office. In the bidding portal, watch lists, bidding lists, and archive lists can be managed. Additionally, concealed bids and practical bid-agent functions are available.

Auction

For the actual auction, options include timed auctions, soft close auctions, and live auctions. In all variants, floor bidders and online bidders can be connected, allowing items to be auctioned together in a seamless process.

Post-Sale

Unsold or still available items can be offered on the website after the auction in a post-sale. This area can also be effectively combined with targeted customer notifications and special newsletters.

Invoice Generation

After the completion of the sale, invoices can be generated automatically, semi-automatically, or completely manually. This allows the system to support both fast standard processes and individual special cases in daily auction business.

Banking & Payment

Customers can pay by credit card, PayPal, or traditional bank transfer. Bank transactions can be directly assigned to the Plutronic system via a customized import system, allowing for faster and more secure processing of incoming payments.

Reminder

For outstanding receivables, the system can generate automated reminders. Customers with payment delays are reliably recorded, and the tracking of open amounts can be managed systematically and time-efficiently within the system.

Delivery

After successful payment, the item can be shipped or picked up at the auction house. For personal handover, a digital confirmation of receipt can be provided directly in the Plutronic system, such as by signature on a pad.

Tracking & History

Customers can always track the location of their shipment and the planned delivery time in the bidding portal. This keeps the shipping status transparent, and the entire item history is clearly viewable for customers and employees.

Settlement for Depositors

A customizable settlement module is available for depositors, which can take into account different commission rates and discount systems. The settlement is provided digitally as a PDF and can be viewed in the internal portal.

Archiving

Auctions and items can be permanently made available in an archive. This allows customers to learn about past auction items even after the auctions have ended. At the same time, the archive enhances visibility in search engines and AI search tools.

Utilize time auctions, soft-close, or live-stream auctions – individually or combined. Items that do not receive a bid can optionally be listed in the post-sale after the auction.

With the auction house console, you can additionally broadcast classic in-person auctions online – synchronously and transparently. Employees of your auction house operate the console and transmit bidding steps, awarded bids, and lot changes in real-time. Online bidders can follow the auction via video and place live bids through the website or app without delay, as if they were sitting directly in the hall. In this area, concealed bidding steps can also be implemented, such as through automatic bidding agent bids. Online bidders can see at any time whether they are the current highest bidder, whether the leading bid comes from the hall, or was possibly placed via an external live console, and can raise their bid at any time.

Item list with images & live bids

Your item list can be presented as a modern catalog – including preview images, starting prices, current bids, and clear status indicators. During active auctions, bids are dynamically updated, so bidders can always see where they stand – without constant reloading and confusion.

Watchlist & Archive lists for bidders

Bidders can add items to a watchlist, monitor collections, and create their own favorites lists. Additionally, archive lists are available for items already viewed, past auctions, or 'recently viewed'. This keeps users oriented in the portal and helps them quickly find interesting lots again.

Import & Export of items (CSV / TXT)

If your inventory is already in another system, you can cleanly import item and article lists (e.g., CSV or TXT). You can also export data – for internal storage, external service providers, or further processing in other processes. This saves time, prevents typographical errors, and keeps data consistent.

Excel import/export for your storage

Many auction houses work internally with Excel lists – for commissions, catalog data, or interim results. bluetronix supports the exchange via Excel, allowing you to quickly move data between storage, team, and system. Ideal if you have multiple people involved in the process or are consolidating inventories from different sources.

Image uploads as a list & assignment by article number

You can upload many images in one step and then automatically assign them – for example, via article numbers or defined image numbers. This is particularly convenient if you have photo workflows in a team or if image material is already structured. This creates a clean, professional catalog quickly.

Automatic image scaling & AI background removal

When uploading, images are automatically optimized: appropriate sizes, fast loading times, and clean presentation on desktop and smartphone. Additionally, an AI function can optionally be used to isolate objects or neutralize backgrounds. This provides a uniform appearance and saves a lot of time in image editing.

System emails for bidders
