If Microsoft Outlook is not yet installed on your computer, first download the program from the official Microsoft website and install it.

Find email data

If you haven't set up an email address yet, first complete the step Create email address.

Open your bluetronix homepage in edit mode.

Go to EmailEmail address management.

Click on Access data for the desired address.

Important: Enter all data exactly as specified in the access data. Also pay attention to capitalization.

Set up Outlook

Start Outlook and click on File.

Click on Add Account.

Enter your email address, activate I want to set up my account manually and click Connect.

Test emails

First, send an email to your own address and check if the message arrives in your inbox.

If issues arise: Check settings

No emails visible? Set the root folder path

Open File, select your account, and go to Account SettingsAccount Name and Synchronization Settings.

Enter the value INBOX in uppercase in the Root Folder Path field and confirm with Next.

The root folder path must be exactly INBOX. Otherwise, incoming emails may not appear in the inbox.

Repair account

Go to FileAccount SettingsAccount Settings, select your email account, and click on Repair.

Select I want to manually repair my account and then click on Repair.

Check inbox (IMAP)

Check username, server, and encryption. Make sure SSL/TLS is enabled and the Server Port is set to 993.

Without SSL/TLS and port 993, an encrypted IMAP connection cannot be established.

Check outgoing mail (SMTP)

Check the server, enable SSL/TLS, and set the Server Port to 465. Additionally, enable My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

Without SMTP authentication or with an incorrect port, outgoing emails cannot be sent.

Setup completed

If the test message is successfully received and sending and receiving work, the setup is complete.
