Forward email address to another mailbox
This section shows step by step how to forward your address to another mailbox. Afterwards, new messages will automatically go to a target address, for example to a Gmail account.
Open Email > Accounts
Start the bluetronix CMS and click on Email. Then select Accounts. Under your address, you will see the Forward button.
Set up forwarding
Click on Forward next to your address. Then enter the target address where you want to forward messages. This target address can also be external, for example, an address at Gmail.
After entering the target address, click on Save. This will enable the forwarding.
Check forwarding
After saving, the management view of your addresses will show that your address is being forwarded to the chosen target address. This allows you to see which accounts are currently forwarding.
Notes on forwarding and mailboxes
An account can either forward or serve as a mailbox. Both options cannot be used simultaneously.
Once a forwarding is active, the webmail service for this address cannot be used. New messages will be entirely directed to the target address.
Delete forwarding
If you want to disable a forwarding, click on Delete forwarding for the relevant account and then confirm with OK. Afterwards, this account will receive messages again without forwarding to another address.
